pulau ketam

if there is one thing one can generalise about pulau ketam, it is that these people love their bicycles, motocycles, and just about every other two wheeled evolutionary monstrosity that comes in between.

pulau ketam is not as i left it five years ago. more and more concrete has found its way here. there was a time when one got giddy at picking one’s way plank after plank across the long wooden walkways. back then, the water flowed notoriously around bunched up wooden poles, and mud skippers disappeared illusively between the waves on the tiny patch of island.

today, pulau ketam stands as a testimony to what excessive tourism can do a very unique teow chew community.
