Indian Wedding

I had the good fortune of attending an old friend’s wedding in Seremban about two weeks back. I have never attended an Indian wedding before so despite the vigourous drums throughout the ceremony, I was completely at awe. There was a whole set of rituals which encompass all sorts of elements and colours.

Vee already had the photographers with the big guns shooting from stage which made my task of capturing moments much easier. Thing was, the artificial lightings from the stage area was too over-powering already. So my angle, for all convenience sake, was from off the stage. All lows.

Congratulations, Vee! 🙂

“A circle is the symbol of the sun and the earth and the universe.
It is a symbol of holiness and of perfection and of peace.
In these rings it is the symbol of unity,
in which your lives are now joined in one unbroken circle,
in which, wherever you go,
you will always return to one another
and to your togetherness.”
